Covering the nine IEW units, this course develops composition, grammar, and vocabulary skills while students write about American history from the Explorers to the Twentieth Century. We will also be reading and discussing six novels that go along with our writing assignments. Those new to Excellence in Writing will enjoy learning the elements of structure and style, and those with Excellence in Writing experience will enjoy practicing and improving their skills.
